Hay diversos grados de consanguinidad. Es un factor de riesgo de enfermedades gen\u00e9ticas, en particular las <a href=\"http:\/\/neuropediatoolkit.org\/patrones-de-herencia\/\">autos\u00f3mico recesivas <\/a>(\u00bf<a href=\"http:\/\/neuropediatoolkit.org\/cuando-sospechar-un-error-congenito-del-metabolismo\/\">cuando sospechar una metabolopat\u00eda<\/a>, sobretodo, aquellas que tienen <a href=\"http:\/\/neuropediatoolkit.org\/protocolo-de-causas-tratables\/\">tratamiento curativo<\/a>?). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-accordion-88e4682c\" class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-accordion exclusive\">\n<details class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-accordion-item\"><summary class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-accordion-item__title\"><div>Coeficiente de consanguinidad.<\/div><\/summary><div class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-accordion-item__content\">\n<p>Existe un coeficiente de endogamia (coefficient of inbreeding and <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Coefficient_of_relationship\">coefficient of relationship<\/a>), que permite calcular la probabilidad de homocigosis en funci\u00f3n de la ascendencia, o inferir la presencia de consanguinidad a partir del grado de homocigosis, que puede ser identificado en los SNP arrays (runs of homocigosity).
