It represents direct orthodromic depolarization of muscle fibers.<\/li>\n    <li><strong>H wave:<\/strong> True monosynaptic reflex (electrical equivalent of the stretch reflex). It travels via sensory Ia afferent fibers to the spinal cord and returns via motor axons. It is evoked with low intensity stimuli.<\/li>\n    <li><strong>F wave:<\/strong> Delayed response generated by the rebound discharge (antidromic) of a small fraction of motoneurons after being electrically stimulated.
