It is graded from 0 to 5 as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n    <li><strong>Grade 0:<\/strong> There is no visible or palpable muscle contraction.<\/li>\n    <li><strong>Grade 1:<\/strong> A slight muscle contraction (indication or trace) is detected, but there is no joint movement.<\/li>\n    <li><strong>Grade 2:<\/strong> Active movement that cannot overcome gravity (only moves if gravity is removed).<\/li>\n    <li><strong>Grade 3:<\/strong> Complete active movement that overcomes gravity, but does not resist any external force.<\/li>\n    <li><strong>Grade 4:<\/strong> Active movement that overcomes gravity and offers some resistance to the examiner (moderate weakness).<\/li>\n    <li><strong>Grade 5:<\/strong> Normal muscular strength, overcomes gravity and maximum expected resistance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Escala de fuerza MRC (Medical Research Council) La escala del Medical Research Council (MRC) es el sistema de referencia cl\u00ednica para evaluar y graduar de forma manual la fuerza muscular en pacientes con sospecha de patolog\u00eda neuromuscular o debilidad motora.
