Early childhood intervention is indicated for children with neurodevelopmental disorders, or at risk of suffering them, between 0 and 6 years of age, except for those children who from 3 years of age already have public resources of some kind (school, MEC scholarships, etc.). To quantify the risk of neurodevelopmental disorder, there are well-defined recommendations published in Pediatría Integral and in the Follow-up Group of the Spanish Society of Neonatology.
